Today marks a truly sacred day: the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, when the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky, illuminating all with its lifeforce. In ancient Egypt, this moment also heralded the rising of Sirius, the star of Isis, a sign of the Nile's annual flooding, marking the time of renewal and the beginning of a new cycle.

This year, the solstice is blessed with a conjunction to Jupiter, magnifying this light and life force energy. We stand at the peak of illumination, charged with solar energy, and invited to reflect on what we are nurturing, what we are birthing, and what we are ready to expand.

The sign of Cancer, guardian of the womb and mother energy, is deeply connected to this time. In ancient cosmology, Cancer was aligned with Isis, the Great Mother, the Keeper of Magic and Healing. She stands as the bridge between the cosmos and the Earth, between the waters of emotion and the fire of creation.
